    $1,495.00

Warming Boots: I spent a winter in the Temagami wilderness, in an old abandoned logging camp cabin and this stove was the only heat source. Not only did it give off a generous heat during sub-zero nights, but the sound of wood crackling in the stove gave a sense of friendly comfort.

The red canoe is symbolic of the Temagami wilderness and very much a part of the Canadian canoeing culture that built this country. Isolating the colour red into a mostly black and white rendering, gives it proper recognition as part of, but still separate, from the landscape. Pen & Ink & watercolour.
