I like the nature of this portrait as it characterizes the fierceness of the animal and its tenacity in a world that holds prejudice against such creatures. This pen & Ink rendering took about four days to complete. Pen & Ink “cross-hatch” or free-style using lines rather than the more tedious pointillism process; this sketch took about three days to complete. The eye is hand-painted.
